The 08055A122JAT2A is a surface-mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) manufactured by Kyocera AVX. It offers a capacitance of 1200 pF with a ±5% tolerance and a rated voltage of 50V. The dielectric is C0G (NP0), a Class I temperature-compensating material that provides excellent stability with a capacitance change of 0 ±30 ppm/°C over the operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.
This capacitor is housed in an 0805 (2012 Metric) package with dimensions of 2.01mm x 1.25mm and a maximum thickness of 0.94mm. The terminations are plated with nickel and tin, suitable for reliable soldering. It is supplied on a 7-inch reel for automated assembly.
C0G/NP0 capacitors are ideal for resonant circuits, filters, timing applications, and other designs requiring low capacitance drift and high stability. The insulation resistance is a minimum of 10,000 MΩ or 500 MΩ-µF, and the dielectric strength is tested at 250% of rated voltage for 1-5 seconds.
