The Kyocera AVX 08055A122FAT4A is a surface-mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) with a nominal capacitance of 1200 pF and a tolerance of ±1%. It is rated for 50V DC operation and features a C0G/NP0 dielectric, which provides a stable capacitance over temperature with a coefficient of 0±30 ppm/°C. This Class I dielectric offers high Q factor (minimum 1000 for capacitance ≥30 pF at 1 MHz), low ESR, and negligible hysteresis.
The capacitor is housed in an 0805 (2012 Metric) package with plated nickel and tin terminations. It is supplied on a 13" reel for automated assembly. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C. Insulation resistance is a minimum of 10,000 MΩ, and dielectric strength is 125V (250% of rated voltage).
This component is suitable for general-purpose applications requiring precision and stability, such as timing circuits, RF coupling, and temperature compensation. The C0G/NP0 formulation ensures minimal capacitance drift over time and temperature, making it ideal for resonant circuits and filters.
