The Kyocera AVX 08055A120KAT2A is a surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) with a capacitance of 12pF and a tolerance of ±10%. It is rated for 50V DC operation and uses a C0G (NP0) dielectric, which offers excellent temperature stability with capacitance change of 0 ±30ppm/°C over -55°C to +125°C. The capacitor is housed in an 0805 (2012 Metric) package with plated nickel and tin terminations. C0G/NP0 ceramics are Class I dielectrics known for low losses, high Q factor (≥1000 for ≥30pF), and negligible capacitance drift. This makes the part suitable for timing circuits, filters, and RF applications where stability is critical. The insulation resistance is at least 10,000MΩ, and the dielectric strength is 250% of rated voltage. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C. The component is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected, with an MSL rating of 1 (unlimited).
