The Phoenix Contact 0700007 is a compact thermal circuit breaker from the CLIPLINE series, specifically the TCP.../DC32V sub-series. It is designed to protect 12V and 24V on-board systems and devices in vehicles such as trucks, buses, and commercial vehicles, as well as boats and low-voltage systems in solar chargers. Unlike some other TCP models, this version does not allow manual switching off of the current circuit, but its ability to be switched back on enhances device availability and eliminates the need for replacement fuses.
This thermal circuit breaker features a nominal voltage rating of 32V DC and a nominal current of 7.5A. It has a low voltage drop of less than 150mV at nominal current. The operating temperature range is from -30°C to +60°C. The breaker is designed to fit in fuse holders conforming to ISO 8820-3 (DIN 72581-3) and can be plugged onto UK 6-FSI/C... (screw connection) and ST 4-FSI/C... (spring-cage connection) base terminal blocks. Potential distribution is easily achievable using bridges with both terminal types.
With a limit short circuit interruption capacity of at least 3 interruptions of 150A or 1 interruption of 2000A, and a service life of 300 cycles at ≤ 50A, the 0700007 offers robust protection. It has an IP30 degree of protection for the operating field and IP00 for the connection area. The clear color coding of the TCP.../DC32V series helps avoid errors from using the wrong fuse.
The nominal voltage rating is 32 VDC.
The nominal current is 7.5 A.
The operating temperature range is -30°C to +60°C.
It mounts in fuse holders designed for flat-type fuse inserts in accordance with ISO 8820-3 (DIN 72581-3).
The voltage drop at nominal current is less than 150 mV.
The limit short circuit interruption capacity is at least 3 interruptions of 150 A or at least 1 interruption of 2000 A.
The service life is 300 cycles with ≤ 50 A.
