This is a 6-position, 2-row receptacle housing from the JST JWPF series, part of a wire-to-wire connector system designed for waterproof applications. It accepts female socket contacts (sold separately) and is rated for 3A per contact (AWG #22) and 100V AC/DC.
The housing features a latch lock fastening system for secure mating, and is designed for free hanging (in-line) mounting. It accommodates wire gauges 26 to 22 AWG with insulation diameter 1.4 to 1.7 mm. The housing is made of PBT material with UL94V-0 flammability rating.
The connector achieves IPX7 waterproof protection (JIS C 0920 Grade Level 7) when mated with the appropriate plug housing and contacts. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +85°C. Contact resistance is 10 mΩ initial, insulation resistance 1,000 MΩ min, and withstanding voltage 1,000 VAC for 1 minute.
The housing is supplied in bags of 1,000 pieces. It is RoHS2 compliant per the datasheet. This connector is suitable for applications requiring reliable waterproof connections in harsh environments.
