The Littelfuse 0603L010YR is a PolySwitch resettable PTC overcurrent protection device in a compact 0603 surface mount package. It offers a hold current of 100 mA and a trip current of 0.30 A at 20°C still air. The device can withstand a maximum voltage of 15 V DC and a maximum fault current of 40 A.
This polymeric PTC features a low initial resistance (0.900 Ω min, 6 Ω max) and fast response to fault currents, with a typical time to trip of 1 second at 0.50 A. Power dissipation in the tripped state is 0.5 W. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
