The Molex 0526101671 is a 16-position, 1.00mm pitch FFC/FPC connector designed for surface mount assembly. It features a zero insertion force (ZIF) actuation mechanism with a slide lock, ensuring secure cable retention without damaging the flexible circuit. The connector has a vertical orientation with 1-sided contacts, making it suitable for applications where the cable exits perpendicular to the PCB.
The housing is made of Polyamide (PA46) Nylon 4/6 with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and the actuator is Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS). Contacts are phosphor bronze with a tin bismuth finish. The connector accepts FFC/FPC cables with a thickness of 0.30mm and a tapered end. It has a height above board of 5.74mm.
