The Molex 0514410693 is a 6-position FFC/FPC connector designed for reliable flat flexible cable interconnections. It features a 0.5mm pitch and bottom contact configuration, making it suitable for compact electronic assemblies. The connector uses a ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) flip lock actuator for easy cable insertion and secure retention. It is rated for 50V and operates over a temperature range of -20°C to 85°C. The housing is made of liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with glass filling, and the actuator is polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) with glass filling, both meeting UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are phosphor bronze with tin bismuth finish. The connector includes solder retention features for reliable surface mount soldering. It accepts FFC/FPC cables with a thickness of 0.30mm and supports straight or tapered cable ends. The height above board is 1.12mm, enabling low-profile designs.
