The Molex 0512965094 is a 50-position, 0.5mm pitch FFC/FPC connector designed for surface mount, right angle assembly. This connector accepts flat flexible cables (FFC) or flexible printed circuits (FPC) with a thickness of 0.30mm and supports both straight and tapered cable ends.
The connector features a Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) mechanism with a flip lock actuator for easy cable insertion and secure retention. Contacts are located on the bottom of the connector and are made of phosphor bronze with a gold finish. The housing is constructed from glass-filled Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and the actuator is made from glass-filled polyamide (PA9T). Additional design features include solder retention for improved board-level reliability.
Operating temperature range extends from -20°C to 85°C with a voltage rating of 50V. The connector sits just 1.3mm above the board, making it suitable for low-profile applications.
