The Littelfuse 0477001.MXP is a 1A ceramic cartridge fuse from the 477 Series, designed for overcurrent protection in a wide range of applications. It is rated for 500VAC and 400VDC, making it suitable for both AC and DC circuits. The fuse features a time-lag (slow blow) characteristic, allowing it to withstand temporary inrush currents without nuisance tripping.
This fuse has a breaking capacity of 100A at 500VAC and 1.5kA at 400VDC, ensuring reliable interruption of fault currents. The melting I²t value is 1.8 A²s, providing coordination with downstream components. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C, suitable for harsh environments.
The fuse is housed in a standard 5x20mm ceramic cartridge package and requires a holder for mounting. It is approved by cULus, PSE, SEMKO, and VDE, meeting international safety standards. The 477 Series is designed to IEC 60127-2, Sheet 5 specification for time-lag fuses.
Typical applications include power supplies, industrial controls, lighting ballasts, and motor protection circuits. The ceramic construction provides high durability and arc quenching capability.
