This pin receptacle from Mill-Max features a no-tail design with a low force 6-finger beryllium copper contact. It accepts round pins from 0.022" to 0.034" (0.56mm to 0.86mm) and square pins of 0.025" (0.64mm). The contact is plated with 30 μ" gold over nickel, while the brass alloy shell has a 200-300 μ" tin (matte finish) over nickel plating.
Electrical specifications include a maximum current of 16A at 30°C temperature rise, with a derated current of 12.8A. Contact resistance is 10 mΩ maximum. The receptacle is rated for a minimum of 1,000 mechanical cycles and can withstand 50g shock and 20G vibration from 10-2000Hz without electrical discontinuity exceeding 1 μs.
