This Kyocera AVX multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) features a C0G (NP0) dielectric, providing exceptional capacitance stability over temperature and time. With a capacitance of 120 pF and a tight ±1% tolerance, it is rated for 50V DC operation. The C0G formulation offers a temperature coefficient of 0 ±30 ppm/°C and negligible capacitance drift, making it suitable for precision circuits.
The capacitor is housed in a standard 0402 (1005 Metric) surface-mount package with plated nickel and tin terminations. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. Electrical characteristics include insulation resistance of ≥10000 MΩ or ≥500 MΩ-µF and dielectric strength of 250% of rated voltage. Designed for general-purpose applications, it is ideal for timing, resonant, and filtering circuits where stability is critical.
