The 04025A100JAT2A is a multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) from Kyocera AVX. It uses a C0G (NP0) dielectric, a Class I temperature-compensating ceramic formulation offering one of the most stable capacitor dielectrics available. Capacitance change with temperature is less than ±0.3% from -55°C to +125°C, with negligible drift and hysteresis.
This capacitor has a capacitance of 10 pF with ±5% tolerance and a voltage rating of 50V. The Q factor is high: for values below 30pF, Q is at least 400+20*C (600 for 10pF). Insulation resistance is a minimum of 10,000 MΩ, and dielectric strength is tested at 250% of rated voltage for 5 seconds.
The component is housed in a standard 0402 (1005 metric) surface mount package with plated nickel and tin terminations. It is supplied in 7-inch reels. Typical applications include general purpose circuits, RF filtering, and temperature-critical designs where capacitor stability is required.
