The Littelfuse 0278.400V is a board mount fuse from the MICRO series, designed for through-hole mounting in a radial can package. It is rated for 400mA at 125VAC/VDC and features a very fast-acting response time. With a breaking capacity of 10kA at rated voltage, it provides reliable overcurrent protection. The fuse has a cold resistance of 0.227 ohms and a melting I²t of 0.0251 A²s. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. This fuse is suitable for applications requiring compact, high-reliability circuit protection, originally developed for the U.S. Space Program. It is available in plug-in or radial lead styles.
