The Littelfuse 0229.500H is a 2AG Slo-Blo® glass body cartridge fuse from the 229/230 series. It is rated for 500mA (0.5A) at 250VAC with a breaking capacity of 35A at 250VAC. The fuse has a slow blow (time-delay) response characteristic, making it suitable for applications with inrush currents. Electrical characteristics include a cold resistance of 0.688 ohms and a melting I²t of 1.16 A²s. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C. This fuse requires a holder for mounting and comes in a 2AG package (5mm x 15mm). It is UL recognized and CSA certified. The glass body construction allows visual inspection of the fuse element. Typical applications include power supplies, lighting, and industrial equipment where overcurrent protection with time delay is needed.
