The Littelfuse 0217.400MXP is a 5×20mm fast-acting glass body cartridge fuse designed to IEC 60127-2, Sheet 2 specifications. Rated at 400mA and 250VAC, it provides supplementary protection for components or internal circuits in appliances and utilization equipment. It has a breaking capacity of 35A at rated voltage and an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
The fuse offers fast response with a melting I²t of 0.125 A²s (nominal 0.02 A²s) and a maximum voltage drop of 1700 mV at rated current. It is approved by multiple agencies including CCC, CE, CSA, K-MARK, SEMKO, UL, and VDE, ensuring suitability for global use. The glass construction allows visual inspection of the fuse element.
Mounting requires a compatible 5x20mm fuse holder. The series includes both cartridge and axial lead versions, but this part is the cartridge variant. It is RoHS compliant and lead-free, making it suitable for environmentally conscious designs.
