LOCTITE EA 0151, also known as Hysol Product 0151, is a clear, two-component epoxy adhesive designed for bonding various materials including glass, metals, circuit boards, fiber optics, and plastics. It exhibits optical clarity when used in small quantities and is easy to mix with a long pot life of 60 minutes for 100-gram batches at 77°F.

This epoxy features a thixotropic paste consistency and 100% solids content. It can be cured at room temperature or with heat, offering flexibility in application. Key mechanical properties include a typical tensile strength of 1850 psi and a Shore D hardness of 85. The material has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 136°F and a coefficient of thermal expansion of 47 x 10⁻⁶ in/in/°C.

Electrically, the LOCTITE EA 0151 provides a dielectric strength of 1080 V/mil, a dielectric constant of 3.88 at 1 kHz, and a volume resistivity of 1.26 x 10¹⁵ ohm-cm. Its outgassing performance meets NASA 1124 standards with a Total Mass Loss (TML) of 1.51% and Collected Volatile Condensable Material (CVCM) of 0.01%.

The product is recommended for applications requiring a clear, durable bond with good electrical insulation properties. It is suitable for use on substrates like glass, metals, circuit boards, and fiber optics.
