The Kyocera AVX 009177001012006 is a single-position insulation displacement connector (IDC) contact designed for solid state lighting and industrial applications. It accepts 16 AWG wire with an insulation diameter of 2.75mm to 4.25mm.
Rated at 16A and 600V, the contact uses phosphor bronze with a tin over nickel finish for reliable conductivity. The housing is made of black PA46 (Nylon 4/6) with UL94V-0 flammability rating, and the part operates from -40°C to 125°C.
This surface-mount component features solder termination and includes a cap (cover) for strain relief. It is designed for board-to-cable/wire connections and can be used to daisy chain PCBs. The IDC design provides a gas-tight connection and allows up to three mating cycles for reworkability.
