The Schurter 0034.4221 is a subminiature fast-acting (quick-acting) fuse designed for board mounting with through-hole terminals. It is part of the MSF 125 series and is rated for 1A at 125VAC and 125VDC.
The fuse has a breaking capacity of 100A at rated voltage and a melting I²t of 0.07 A²s. Its fast-blow characteristic provides rapid overcurrent protection for sensitive circuits. The insulation resistance exceeds 100 MΩ, and operational life is tested for 1000 hours at 0.60 times rated current at 70°C.
The fuse features a thermoplastic housing with UL 94V-0 flammability rating and tin-plated copper terminals. It is designed for wave soldering with solderability at 235°C for 2 seconds and heat resistance up to 260°C for 10 seconds. Operating temperature range is -25°C to 85°C. It complies with MIL-STD-202 for vibration, shock, and solvent resistance.
