The Schurter 0034.4216 is a subminiature board mount fuse from the MSF 125 series. It is rated for 500 mA at 125 VAC and 125 VDC with a breaking capacity of 100 A. The fuse features a quick-acting (fast blow) characteristic, making it suitable for protecting sensitive circuits where rapid response to overcurrent is required.
The fuse is housed in a radial can package with tin-plated copper terminals for through hole mounting. It operates over a temperature range of -25°C to 85°C and has a melting I²t of 0.02 A²s. The housing is made of thermoplastic with UL 94V-0 flammability rating.
Design considerations include wave soldering compatibility with a solderability of 235°C for 2 seconds and resistance to soldering heat of 260°C for 10 seconds. The fuse meets MIL-STD-202 vibration and mechanical shock requirements. It is cURus approved under UL 248-14.
