The Schurter 0034.4215 is a subminiature board mount fuse from the MSF 125 series, designed for direct soldering on printed circuit boards. It features a quick-acting (fast blow) characteristic, making it suitable for overcurrent protection in various electronic applications.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 400 mA, voltage rating of 125 VAC and 125 VDC, and a breaking capacity of 100 A. The melting I²t is 0.013 A²s, providing fast response to overcurrent conditions.
The fuse is housed in a radial can package with a diameter of 6.4 mm and height of 8.8 mm. It is through hole mounted and has tin-plated copper terminals. The thermoplastic housing is rated UL 94V-0 for flammability. Operating temperature range is -25°C to 85°C, and storage conditions are 0°C to 40°C with max 70% relative humidity.
Compliance includes cURus approval (UL 248-14, CSA22.2 No. 248.14). The fuse meets MIL-STD-202 for vibration and mechanical shock, and has a solderability rating of 235°C / 2 sec and resistance to soldering heat of 260°C / 10 sec.
