The Schurter 0031.8211 is a through-hole fuseholder block designed for 5mm x 20mm cartridge fuses. It offers a rated voltage of 500VAC (VDE) and 500VAC/VDC (UL/CSA). Current rating is 10A with cover (VDE) or 16A without cover (VDE), and 16A (UL/CSA). Power acceptance is 4W at 16A. Contact resistance is ≤10mΩ, dielectric strength >3kV, and insulation resistance ≥10MΩ.
This fuseholder is suitable for protection class I equipment per IEC 61140 and fulfills increased glow wire requirements per IEC 60335-1. It has an IP20 degree of protection with cover and operates over -40°C to 85°C. The socket and cover are made of thermoplastic UL 94V-0, and terminals are tin-plated copper alloy.
Mounting is through hole with PC pin termination, horizontal orientation. It is compatible with wave and reflow soldering processes. The unit weight is 1.7g. Storage conditions are 0°C to 60°C, max. 70% r.h.
