The Schurter 0031.3573 is a shock-safe fuseholder from the FAU series, designed for use with 5x20mm and 6.3x32mm (3AG) cartridge fuse-links. It features a horizontal PCB mounting orientation with through-hole solder terminals (PC pins). The fuseholder accepts both standard fuse sizes, offering flexibility in applications.
Electrically, the fuseholder is rated for 16 A current under UL/CSA conditions and 10 A under VDE conditions. The voltage rating is 250 VAC (VDE) and 600 VAC/VDC (UL/CSA). It meets shock-safe category PC2 and has a degree of protection IP40. The rated power acceptance is 3.2 W at 10 A for 6.3x32mm fuse-links, with derating curves available for 5x20mm links.
Mechanically, the unit weighs approximately 5.1 g and is constructed with a thermoplastic black socket (UL 94V-0) and copper alloy tin-plated terminals. It can operate over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and is suitable for appliances with protection class I or II according to IEC 61140. The fuseholder has a contact resistance of ≤10 mOhm and dielectric strength >3 kV.
The fuseholder is rated 16 A (UL/CSA) and 10 A (VDE) for cartridge fuse-links.
Rated 250 VAC (VDE) and 600 VAC/VDC (UL/CSA).
It accepts 5x20mm and 6.3x32mm (1/4" x 1-1/4") cartridge fuses.
The fuseholder is designed for horizontal through-hole PCB mounting with PC pin terminals.
-40°C to 85°C.
Yes, it meets shock-safe category PC2 according to IEC 60127-6.
The fuseholder has an IP40 degree of protection.
