The Schurter 0031.2203 is a shock-safe fuseholder designed for 5x20mm cartridge fuses. It features a panel mount front-side installation with a fixing nut and offers solder lug or quick-connect 6.3x0.8mm terminals. The holder is rated for 250VAC (VDE) and 600VAC/DC (UL/CSA) with a current rating of 16A (VDE) or 30A (UL/CSA).
This fuseholder accepts up to 4W of power dissipation at 23°C ambient temperature and provides IP40 protection (IP67 with optional accessory). It is suitable for protection class I appliances per IEC 61140 and operates over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The socket is made of thermoplastic with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, and terminals are tin-plated copper.
Designed for circuit protection applications, the 0031.2203 accommodates panel thicknesses up to 8mm and requires a maximum fixing nut torque of 1.2 Nm. It meets overvoltage category III and pollution degree 3 per IEC 60664-1.
