Comparators are integrated circuits that compare two input voltages and output a signal based on the comparison. They are widely used in applications such as signal conditioning, data acquisition, and control systems. Important specifications for selection include CMRR (Common Mode Rejection Ratio), which affects the accuracy of the comparison; PSRR (Power Supply Rejection Ratio), which ensures stable operation under varying supply voltages; and Hysteresis, which prevents false triggering in noisy environments.
